Angel's Rest Motel

My partner and I stayed in the studio room, and our cats were well accommodated too. The entire process, from booking to check-in and check-out, was seamless and user-friendly. After an eight-hour drive with two cats, finding a comfortable place to rest for the night couldn’t have been better. They also have a restaurant that serves Indian food satisfying enough to fill our bellies and ensure a peaceful sleep.

The overnight rate was excellent for the facilities and service provided. Great location, just out of the town center. Very quiet. Not a new facility, however it was very clean and comfortable. Australian and Indian meals, to rooms, are available also. Additionally, I felt safe and happy with the security arrangements overnight. The entrance gate is closed and locked from 9pm to 6am every day, but a code to the gate is supplied for those who wish to leave in the early morning.

Everything was super clean. I’ve stayed in pet friendly places which were not but this property, though old, was spotless. There is a little kitchen so if you want to do your own food you can. The food I ordered through them came in a timely manner and was delicious. Australian and Indian food is available, I chose Indian. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

The location of this hotel is close to the Artesian Aquatic Centre and although we didn't visit it due to time restraints it is a very short walk to that facility. One of the few budget motel rooms with an oven and cooktop, allowing a quick cook of dinner or breakfast if you wish. Gates are locked after hours which seems to be a standard thing in Moree, which is a shame yet provides appropriate security.

Easy location to access. Security was evident (car park gates locked at night and security grilles on exterior windows). The room had a serviceable kitchenette and larger refrigerator than normal. Bedding was good, as was the bathroom layout. Hot water for shower and good water pressure. For the price of Genius 3, this was a great stay.
